- When you are serving food to people in a restaurant, it’s important to note that they arrived hungry. Remember: they came to you. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area who would be pleased to get their business.
- Tipping has always been optional. It’s an offering meant to compliment you on your good service, after the food has been served and hopefully enjoyed. We’ve found that dropping money into a large glass jar next to the cash register before being served may or may not prompt good service, depending on the mood you are in, or the size of the favor you might believe the world owes you.
- Although “Pedestrian Right of Way” means that the drivers must watch out for you, barging into the street without looking does not guarantee that you will not be hit by a car.
